Sherlock Nails

I did a re-run of the second season of Sherlock this weekend, and of course, had to do matching nails:

With all the stamping plates I have, one should think I have one with a simple smiley face on it, but no such luck. But then again, my wriggly freehand probably matches the sprayed graffiti even better. 😀

The black Konad stamping polish SO bugged me again. It smears, it’s a pain to clean up, and REALLY drove me mad. I hate using it, but it’s still the best black stamping polish I tried so far. If anyone has a better suggestion, I’d be thankful to hear it. 🙂

Base coat: Sally Hansen Miracle Cure
Main color: Sally Hansen Xtreme wear 460 Wet Cement (two coats)
Top Coat: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri
Stamping: Konad Special Nail Polish in black with Konad m83
Smiley face: Konad Special Nail Polish in yellow
Top coat: Seche Vite
Final top coat: p2 matte victim top coat

  1. Exactly! But this mani seriously couldn’t have turned out better, the free handed smiley smile, is the same as Sherlock’s graffiti ❤ Mrs Hudson would hate your nails 😀

  2. Hey, can I ask what stamp this is? I want to do a similar manicure and it’s the closest i’ve seen to the wallpaper pattern. Looks great!
