Lena and Cyw came up with another great fall color for this weeks edition of “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!”: copper. As usual, I couldn’t decide which polish(es) should deserve the honor – though “Penny Talk” was a given, of course 😀 – so I just mixed them up in a saran-wrap manicure, with some black dabbed in for more contrast:
I started with two coats of “Dark Pearly Copper”, hoping that it would look more like copper on the nails than in the bottle, but no such luck. Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s a beautiful polish and a perfect fall color, but I’m not sure if it’s not a bit too dark with too much red and brown for copper.
But in combination with the other two copper polishes it worked well. Now I got a mixture of old pennies, new pennies and shiny pennies (with a little dirt 😉 ) on my nails. 😀
