This was another tough one for me: orange based colors do weird things to my skin tone, pastel polishes usually need at least three coats to be completely opaque – which I try to avoid – so I thought I would not have even one polish that matches the description. And try buying a pretty spring color like this in November! 😀
Luckily I was wrong and the nude-polishes section in my Helmer had the solution. Thank god I was weird enough to buy the complete range of p2 “Rich Care + Color” after Rea sung their praise, even the one color I was pretty sure I would never wear. 😀
I really love the “Rich Care + Color” polishes, they are such great nudes, all of them with a hint of color and thus perfect as base for nail art where white would be too harsh. The one I used, “so happy” is probably the most colored one (I used pink, green and classic nude so far), and a perfect match for apricot. Usually two carefully applied coats are enough to get it opaque, this time I used three to make extra sure.
I also found another polish that might match, “Rosy One More Time”, but it had more pink in it, so I only used it for some dots, together with a matte top coat to get different finishes. It’s a very subtle design, but as much as I dreaded the color this week, I think it turned out quite nice. 🙂
