This weeks color for “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” by Lena and Cyw – “hellrot” (light red) – is the perfect color to start with christmas themed manicures:
“Snap Happy” is almost a neon polish, it shines so bright on the nails. And although it is quite thin, application with the wide essie brush was nice and easy. Since I added a french tip anyway, I was content with two coats, but if you wear it on its own, you might need three coats to really hide the nail line.
I didn’t want a straight line for the french (as this is of course supposed to be the felt lining of Santa’s hat 😉 ), so I used a dotting tool to dab on a thick layer of white polish, and used a small brush to line it with silver glitter. And I free-handed the hat on the accent nail, which I am very proud of (well, at least the left side 😀 ).
As I said, this also marks the beginning of christmas themed manicures, so from now on until the 24th, I’ll try to only do christmas nails. 🙂

Main color: essie Leading Lady 244 Snap Happy (two coats)
Base color (ringfinger): p2 Rich Care + Color 070 so natural (two coats)
French tips: Misslyn 90 Snow-white and essie Leading Lady 243 Beyond Cozy
Top coat: Seche Vite

Oh. Mein. Gott! Wie unglaublich süß – da wär ich auch stolz drauf!!! Boah, was für ne coole Mütze, und die weißen Linien unten an den Nägeln und die Silberlinie – einfach nur perfekt geworden, wirklich perfekt!

Das ist ja unglaublich niedlich und so stimmig! Die Mütze so toll. Das muss ich mir unbedingt merken und ich mag French Nails normalerweise nicht mal!
