This is a very simple variation of “gift-wrapped” nails, that even those (read: “me”) who are really (really!) bad at freehanding can manage. I actually did a test-run and tried to draw two lines and a bow on my nails, but let’s just politely say it didn’t work out too well. 😀 So I just painted one coat of a silver base, taped the lines and later added a rhinestone bow.
This is one of KIKOs thinner polishes, and if you use it on its own, you will need two or maybe even three coats to get it fully opaque. This is also why with this close-up shot, you see a bit of the silver base shining through. With regular viewing distance, everything is fine though. Application and drying time was as always perfect.
