This is how it began, this is how it continues

Today marks the second anniversary of my nail art and nail polish addiction, and the first anniversary of this blog. This also means it is “time for romance”. 😀

As I wrote a year ago, this was the polish that pretty much started it all, so it deserves the honor to be used today, of course again in combination with black and silver. I painted three coats, and then free-handed (Free-handed! With a brush! 😉 ) the curved black french and the silver glitter.

After I took the first set of pictures, I thought it might be a nice touch to mattify the black french:

What do you prefer, matte or shiny?

The most important thing that happened last year probably was Rea posting an entry to “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” by Lena and Cyw. I wouldn’t have known about this event otherwise, and it quickly became the most important day in my weekly blogging schedule, and introduced me to some fantastic nail art blogs, too.

So a huge thanks to the three of you. 🙂
