When “flieder” (lilac) came up during the last round of “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” by Lena and Cyw, I did a spring-like manicure in honor of The Glorious People’s Republic of Treacle Mine Road. I was actually tempted to do something similar again, but then I thought it’s been quite a while since I did a doticure, and what better way to show your respect with your favourite technique, right? 😉
My camera had a hard time to capture everything that’s going on with these polishes. The main color – “pearly lilac” – is a slightly dusty lilac with lots of silver glitter flecks, the darker dots are done with a (somewhat) holo color, and the white is a glittery textured polish. So quite a lot of sparkle. 😀
“pearly lilac” was one of the first polishes I bought, and I still think it’s the prettiest lilac I own. It is a bit on the thin side, though, and you will need at least three coats to get it truly opaque. But it is such a beauty that I’m willing to forgive that. 🙂

Dots: Catrice 420 Dirty Berry and Barry M Royal Glitter Lady
Top coat: Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

Wow, wie gleichmäßig du die Punkte hinbekommst! Hübsch! Auch die Farben harmonieren toll. Dein Design aus Runde 1 hab ich ja aus irgendwelchen Gründen (ich glaub wohl, da war ich im Urlaub oder so) erst heute gesehen – ich muss sagen, das hat mich so RICHTIG umgehauen. Sogar noch mehr als das hier – obwohl dein heutiges auch wieder spitze ist. 🙂

Wooow – wunderschön – wie eigentlich immer bei dir! Echt ein tolles Design, ich muss mich langsam auch mal mehr mit den Dottingtools auseinandersetzen, und dich dann vielleicht kopieren – einfach schön!
