Nude glitter

Actually I wanted to show a different polish (this one) for this weeks color for “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” by Lena and Cywbeige – since this was the polish I craved when beige came up in the last round and now I finally got it. But then I swatched “Glitter Me If You Can” for the first time on my nails last week, and was completely swept away by its beauty and how much like a natural nude – with a glitter kick 😉 – it looked on my nails, so I decided this polish deserves the honored spot:

“Glitter Me If You Can” is from the “Luxury Lacquer / Million Brilliance” LE Catrice released in March this year. I actually got only one of them, but as usual I couldn’t resist a brown toned polish, so this one was a must.

It is packed with various types of glitter in a slightly nude-tinted base. I can spot gold (and a bit of silver?) micro glitter, tiny copper-colored round glitter and larger hexagonal bits in dusty rose. Together they give a very elegant nude look, but with the extra kick of a lot of sparkle. 😉

I used three coats for the pictures, but with regular viewing distance two would be enough. Application and drying time was ok, removal of course is a tough one. 😉

It is also great for glitter gradients. I used three coats of “so pure” as base and then used a small brush to create the gradient effect."Lacke in Farbe ... und Bunt!" - last roundBase coat: p2 hands & nails calcium gel
Main color (index, middle and little finger): Catrice Luxury Lacquer Million Brilliance C08 Glitter Me If You Can (three coats)
Main color (thumb, ring finger): p2 Rich Care + Color 010 so pure (three coats)
Glitter gradient: Catrice Luxury Lacquer Million Brilliance C08 Glitter Me If You Can
Top coat: Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

  3. oh toll, das passt super zusammen! den gliiter me if you can hab ich mir für kupfer gedacht 😉
