Like last round, I could resist using “Mint Candy Apple” for mint – this weeks color for “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” by Lena and Cyw – although to me it is THE mint polish. 😉 Instead I have another very gorgeous mint shade to show:
“iced mint frappe” is a light mint creme polish, with a slightly more greenish hue than for example “Mint Candy Apple”.
It is intended as a special polish for toes, but instead of this being just clever marketing, there actually is a difference between the polishes from the “show your feet” range and the regular essence polishes. As far as I can tell from the three colors I have, they are a bit thicker (but still manageable), more pigmented and thus almost one-coaters – even such light colors as this – and they last longer.
So if you are looking for a color they do have in the (unfortunately very limited) “show your feet” range, you might want to skip the regular range and give these a try instead – and just ignore the “feet” stuff. 😉
I had a hard time NOT combining it with gold and pink again, but I managed. Though it was a close call. 😀
Instead I tried to do the name some justice, and gave the accent nail a cold and fresh splatter look. 🙂
