Clumsy me broke not one, not two, but three nails while trying to save my cell phone from smashing on the floor. I did manage to catch it in the end – so at least this worked out – but now I am able to present to you my new nubbins! 😀
On the plus side, this is the length I feel most comfortable with wearing very dark polish, in this case p2 “diva expressiva”, a dark plum shade. I really like the look of short nails and dark polish, and the shorter my nails, the less I have to worry about tip wear and chipping – which usually puts me off dark polish, as it is so much more visible.
I recently fell in love with the p2 “volume gloss” range, even though they are a bit on the sheer side and I usually need three coats to be perfectly happy with the result. But they are easy to apply, dry quickly, clean-up without staining and – most important of all – they really seem to match my nail chemistry and last quite a bit longer than other polishes.
