This months theme for Cyws “Mottomonat” is “Elegance”. To me, this means simple designs, and either very dark or very light polish. I decided to do the dark version first:
As I said, this is very simple, I painted one layer of “what a drag”, taped off a small stripe (twice) and each time added one coat of “Opening Night”.
The hardest part was taking a picture that would do justice to both polishes, without spoiling the contrast too much. 😀
“what a drag” is a great sparkling polish that doesn’t need much light to shine, while “Opening Night” needs a lot of light to show its glow from within. I think it worked best on the picture below, especially on my ring finger.
I love this months theme, so I hope I find the time to do a light version as well. *fingerscrossed* 😉
Base coat: p2 hands & nails calcium gel
Base color: color club 811 what a drag (one coat)
Top color: M.I.6 Opening Night (two coats)
Top coat: Seche Vite

Wow. Was für ein Blau! Der Schimmer ist ja genial. Ich stimme dir zu – sehr dunkle Designs finde ich auch wahnsinnig elegant, oder eben sehr helle, zarte. Mit deiner silbernen Linie triffst du das Motto jedenfalls perfekt, das sieht richtig klasse aus!
Und sorry für den späten Kommentar, ich hab die ganze Woche an der BA geknobelt – mir ist auch grade aufgefallen, dass ich die ganze Woche nix gepostet habe, ach du Schreck…
Danke schön – der blaue Lack ist aus einer dieser 12er-Mini-Set Billig-Teile, die es beim Douglas mal immer wieder gibt. Wobei die Farben und auch die Qualität überraschend gut war, wenn man von dem naturgemäß kleinen Pinsel mal absieht. 🙂
