This weeks color of “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” is “olivgrün” (olive-green):
“sew psyched” is a dusty and slightly bluish-grey olive colored cream polish, with a tiny bit of shimmer thrown in the mix. It is barely visible on the nails – only with a lot of light – but it adds to the overall dirty look and feel of it.
It was – like pretty much all essie polishes – perfect to work with. Two coats and you are done, a great brush, quick drying time. Maybe it was just the comparison to last week, but while I painted my nails I kept on muttering “Yes!” and “This is how a polish should be” to myself. 😀
The color reminded me a bit of ciruit boards, so I used a MoYou London stamping plate and added a matching pattern in copper and some silver dots.
