This week Lena wants “pink” (as in “hot pink”) as color for “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!”, and as a lover of all things pink I am more than happy to comply. 😉
“kissed by the sun” is another gorgeous polish from the “Mini” collection (“Mini” because of the small bottles) Misslyn brought out earlier this year. It has a dusty pink cream base, with slight blue-ish undertones and tons of warm golden shimmer, although the shimmer needs a lot of light to sparkle (but of course a polish named “kissed by the sun” needs to be kissed by the sun, right? 😉 ). This polish is another example of what Misslyn in my opinion does best: polishes with that warm soft glow from within. ❤
Application was great, although it is a bit thicker than the regular Misslyn polishes. It needs two coats to be fully opaque.
This polish just screamed for some nail art in gold, so I added a golden water decal on top. These metallic decals are a little thicker than the regular decals I used so far, but were very easy to work with. If you are new to water decals and are afraid of how they can be a bit tricky sometimes, these might be the ones to try first. The downside of the thickness is that you can still spot the see-through base if you look very close, but they are still a lot thinner than stickers.
