This weeks color for “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” is “petrol” (teal), another favourite polish color of mine:
My choice for this week is a polish from “Beauty Women” called “Seafoam” – though I think it is somewhat weird to call a “petrol” (= “gasoline” in german) colored polish like that. At least they should have added “After an Oilspill”. 😀
It is a great teal though. I instantly fell in love with the color, the perfect dark mixture of blue and green.
I expected a cream polish when I bought it, but it is actually more like a crelly. It was rather thin, tended to smear and leave bald patches. It also had a harder brush than I am used to, and I needed three coats to get it fully opaque.
At least it dried quick enough, so the additional coat didn’t take much extra time.
I added a water decal on the accent nail and put one coat of “p2 so gold shake up top coat” on top. It was the first time I tried this topper and isn’t the result amazing? I expected a simple gold glitter topper, but this is so much more than that – more like a flaky top coat, and with shimmer varying from green-gold to regular gold to red-gold. Absolutely gorgeous. ❤

Ein Traum! Der Basislack ist schon so wunderschön aber dann noch die Kombi mit dem Topper und dann auch noch das Stamping… ich bin völlig hin und weg!

Das ist ein wirklich wudnerschönes Petrol und das Decal passt ganz toll dazu.
Mein Star ist aber tatsächlich der Topper, nachdem ich den hier so toll sehe werde ich ihn mir doch noch kaufen müssen… ich hab einen Goldtopper von Catrice und dachte, das würde reichen und dass der p2 irgendwie merkwürdig ist weil man den schütteln muss und so… Aber hier gesehen und für verliebenswert befunden. Der kommt mit, wenn ich das nächste Mal im dm bin! 🙂

Auf alle Fälle muss der mit! 🙂 Ich bin ja auch lange an dem vorbei gelaufen, weil ich mir auch dachte, daß das Prinzip reichlich seltsam ist. Aber irgendwann hab ich den mal als Frustkauf mitgenommen, und ich war dann echt hin und weg, wie ich den auf den Nägeln gesehen habe. ❤

Und eigentlich ist der Lack schon ok, ich hatte halt nur einen normalen Creme-Lack erwartet, und war dann etwas negativ überrascht, daß es doch eher ein Crelly ist, vergleichbar mit den p2 “volume gloss” Lacken. Das hat mich dann ein bisschen aus der Bahn geworfen. 😉
