This weeks color for “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” is magenta:
“too taboo” was part of the summer collection 2014. It is supposed to be a neon polish, and while it sure is a vibrant color, I wouldn’t call it a neon.
It is a crelly, and I needed three coats to get it opaque. Apart from that, application was – as always with essie – nice and easy, though the polish is quite thin and I had to take extra care not to flood my cuticles. 😀
(Thanks to the name, this scene and song from “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” is now firmly stuck in my head, especially the picture of the sword singing “taboooooooooo”… *g*)
I simply added one coat of “Fantasy Fire” and a star-shaped stud on the accent nails, because a) I needed a bit of sparkle on my nails and b) “Fantasy Fire” just makes everything prettier. 😉
