Although this weeks color for “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” – gold – is another perfect color for christmas nail art, I again decided to do something else:
“Metallicious” was part of the Metallure LE Catrice brought out earlier this year and is a very muted antique gold metallic.
Application was ok – if you ignore the terrible Catrice brush and don’t mind the visible brushstrokes typical for this kind of polish 😉 – and after two quickly drying coats I was happy with the result.
Usually I am not a fan of gold polish, and mostly use it for nail art, but I really like the dusty/dirty look of “Metallicious”.
I recently started watching “Angel” again, and as soon as I saw the Oracles, I knew I had to do their skin pattern as nail art the next time I paint my nails in gold. 🙂
Base coat: p2 hands & nails calcium gel
Main color: Catrice Metallure C04 Metallicious (two coats)
Stamping (accent nails): KIKO Mirror 623 Blue with Bundle Monster BM01, BM07 and BM12
Top coat: Seche Vite

Sehr schön. Ich finde es super, dass du ein bisschen was anderes ausgesucht hast, als die Meisten. Der Antikgold-Ton steht dir auch wirklich gut!
Danke – bei “normalem” Gold hab ich ja immer das Problem, daß es mir zu sehr ins orange/gelb geht, aber das ist kalt genug, damit es zu mir passt. 🙂
Das ist doch mal ein schönes Gold. Ich bin auch nicht so der Freund von goldenen Nägeln, aber so antik angehauchtes ist schon irgendwo schön 🙂

Danke Caline – ich war auch echt begeistert von der Farbe. Die hat mir in der Flasche schon gut gefallen, und dann auf den Nägeln gleich nochmal mehr. 🙂
