Venus

This weeks color of “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” is “koralle” (coral):

venus

venusUnfortunately, this turned out completely different from what I had in mind. At least on my pictures.

“venus” has a sheer pink base, and tons of golden glitter, and pink + orange/yellow/gold = coral. And it does look coral in the bottle and after you put it on your nails – a coral leaning to pink, sure, but definitely coral – but I couldn’t capture it on my nails for the life of me. In macro mode, my camera focused too much on the golden glitter bits, but without it, everything was just a blurry mess. The close-up shoot of the bottle on the right and the picture below give a better feel of the overall look, though still not 100% perfect.

Apart from that, application was ok – though I needed three coats – and it dried nice and fast. Even clean-up was ok(-ish), I expected worse from a polish with so much glitter. 😀

Since “venus” was part of a galaxy themed LE, of course I had to do galaxy nails on the accent nails. 🙂

Nächste Woche wirds dann wieder leichter. 🙂
