Lovely daughter

This weeks color for “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” is “taubenblau” (pigeon blue):

It is one of those tricky colors again, but I hope “lovely daughter” is a suitable candidate. 🙂

To me, pigeon blue is a dirty, dusty and muted blue, and while “lovely daughter” came out a bit too bright in the first picture, I think the second picture is a good likeness, and shows, why I decided to use it today.

It is another color from the p2 “volume gloss” range, and again a great polish. Like all the colors from this range I tried so far, it needed three coats to be perfectly opaque, but since it applies like a dream and dries quickly, I didn’t mind.

For the nail art I added a bit of glitter on the accent nails and topped it off with a water decal. 🙂

Base coat: p2 hands & nails calcium gel
Main color: p2 volume gloss 230 lovely daughter (three coats)
Accent nails: Jolifin water decals and Jolifin Illusion Glitter in Polar blue
Top coat: Seche Vite
