This is another take on nails from fashion shows, in this case Angel Sanchez NYFW Spring 2015:
At first, I tried to simply use two similar colored polishes, but that didn’t match the soft, jelly-like look I liked so much in the original. So instead I used a tinted polish for the swirl, and I think it came out quite ok, especially on the ring-finger. 🙂
I like the result, but next time I guess I will paint the swirl as curved french. I usually prefer nail art that sets the focus on the tips rather than the back of my nails (no specific reason, I guess I’m just weird this way 😉 ).
Base coat: p2 hands & nails calcium gel
Main color: Milani 37A Heather (two coats)
Swirls: OPI Sheer Tints Don’t Violet Me Down
Top coat: Seche Vite
