I finally found the time to try one of the new edding nail polishes:
And yeah, it is quite ok, application was nice, drying time was ok, and it lasted my regular two days.
But that was pretty much the problem, it is simply ok – and so are essence and p2 polishes (the new essence range and the p2 “volume gloss” range are even more than ok), at a fraction of the price. Maybe after reading so many glowing reviews I expected too much, but for now I don’t see a reason to break my “no more than 5 Euros a bottle” rule for it.
But they do have nice colors, so I probably will cave in in the future and treat myself with another bottle or two. 😉
Since I wanted to see how the polish fares on its own, I kept the nail art simple and just added studs. 🙂
Base coat: p2 hands & nails calcium gel
Main color: edding L.A.Q.U.E. 148 mad mistyrose (two coats)
Square white studs from Born Pretty
Top coat: Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

Mir gehts da ähnlich wie dir – echt schöne Farben und ich stehe ja ziemlich auf das Fläschchendesign! Aber die sind doch echt teuer. Viel Inhalt ja, aber wirklich wenig haben Catrice, essence und p2 ja auch nicht. Man braucht ja auch eigentlich keine 10+x ml, weil man doch eh nicht so viel lackiert wie man eigentlich könnte, Sammlerproblem! 😀
Die Qualität kann ich jetzt leider nicht beurteilen, ich habe meine Billigkaufen-Regel noch nicht gebrochen, aber ich bin so zufrieden mit dem Drogerieangebot was so “normale” Farben angeht, da brauche ich das auch nicht. Danke daher für deinen Eindruck! 🙂

Und wie gesagt, der Lack war jetzt nicht schlecht oder so, aber für meine Begriffe halt auch nichts Besonderes. Der spielt ja in der Preisklasse von essie, aber da kann er für mich einfach nicht mithalten.
