Pink glitter

I joined “Lacke in Farbe … und Bunt!” by Lena and Cyw in the first round with the color right after “rosa” (baby pink) – and was very disappointed I missed it because I have a deep love for everything pink (and glitter). But here is my chance to make up for it… 😉

“free hugs” is a cute baby pink cream, which applies – as pretty much all essence polishes – nice and easy. Although it is a very light color, it is possible to get it evenly opaque with two carefully applied coats. However, since drying time is not a problem with the “color & go” polishes, I usually don’t bother much and add a third when necessary, especially for close-up pictures.

The glitter is the second of my two wet’n’wild polishes (the other one was shown by Cyw for last weeks “black”). I bought it because I wanted a polish that would match my shoes (I kid you not!), and was so happy after I finally found this. I usually wear three coats of it without any colored polish underneath, but even though it is so densely packed with glitter, I knew it wouldn’t be enough for a close-up, so I put one layer of “free hugs” underneath. From regular viewing distance it pretty much looks exactly like the shoes.

For the nail art I simply taped off a small stripe and filled it with “Sparked”.

Pink and glittery enough? 😉
